Pervormance International GMBH

Textile - Germany

Global warming is more and more affecting all areas of life. Air conditioning systems help – but they are already responsible for over 1 gigaton of CO2 and over 8% of energy consumption. However, there is a glimmer of hope: Pervormance has discovered a solution that addresses this issue, benefiting workers, athletes, and individuals with specific health conditions alike.

Innovative cooling products and their advantages
Pervormance has devised a 3D technology featuring intelligent fibers, which have been incorporated into textiles such as cooling vests, shirts, headgear, as well as blankets and curtains. These user-friendly and cost-effective products allow to cool individuals and animals with a cooling capacity of up to 660 watts in an environmentally friendly and climate-conscious manner.

The products are already adopted by leading companies operating in hot workplaces, national sports teams, individuals coping with heat-related health issues, and anyone facing summer heat. Compared to traditional air conditioning systems, they allow to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 97%. Moreover, these cooling solutions demand no external energy, relying solely on water and air as refrigerants.

Pervormance’s activities are consistent with the company’s commitment to minimizing its environmental footprint by using sustainable electricity, upcycled fibers, short production routes, and more. Furthermore, it is already in the process of integrating this technology into clothing and home textiles, with plans for its application in cooling buildings and vehicles in the future.

Making products even more sustainable
By replacing air conditioning systems, Pervomance has the greatest leverage in terms of sustainability. Users of its products achieve savings exceeding 90% in CO2 emissions, eliminate 100% of energy consumption, and eliminate the use of harmful refrigerants.

The company aims to go beyond this by making its products even more sustainable. This involves an ongoing shift towards utilizing recycled fibers and enabling users to recycle the products, paving the way for a circular economy. In addition, Pervormance manufactures its textiles in Germany and Europe, sourcing raw materials and fabrics from European and German producers, thereby reducing the need for air travel and ensuring fair working conditions and wages.

Pervormance aligns with 13 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and offsets the remainder of its CO2 emissions through forest protection projects adhering to recognized social and environmental standards.
