SMEs and sustainable recovery: now viable thanks to economies of scale

The time has finally come for small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For months now, Europe has been mobilising support for the economic recovery of SMEs, encouraging them to exploit the competitive advantages of the single market.

Within this framework, companies can start outlining strategies to be implemented in the medium/long-term, taking as an example EU countries that have been most successful in managing the crisis from an economic standpoint. The common thread in this effective management of the economy can be traced back to the application of economies of scale strategies in an integrated single market.
