Protecting the Future

The event will be hosted by the Generali Group in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme’s Insurance and Risk Finance Facility as part of their joint commitment to reduce the protection gap and support MSME resilience around the world.

The programme includes:
 

• - The presentation of the 2025 Generali-UNDP report on MSMEs, providing data, evidence, and solutions to build the resilience of critical value chains in Thailand, Malaysia, and India;



• - The launch the Generali-UNDP MSME Risk & Resilience Framework, a practical tool designed to help MSMEs better understand and manage their health risks;


• - The announcement of the two winners of the Generali-UNDP Insurance Innovation Challenge (IIC) for Thailand which offers them up to $40,000, along with technical assistance, to develop innovative insurance solutions to enhance MSMEs’ resilience and protection;



• - The announcement of the Generali – UNDP Partnership extension for another three-year cycle, expanding its reach to new countries in Asia and other regions around the world;
